I think, therefore I am?

“Cogito, ergo sum.” René Descartes.

The saying “I think, therefore I am” is a common one that many know, but to me it is missing the critical first part of what René Descartes said, i.e. “dubito” or I doubt.

 “Dubito…cogito, ergo sum.” René Descartes

He said, “I doubt…I think, therefore I am.”  Just one word that really changes who I am.  I am a doubting, thinking person.  I question, I query, I’m dynamic.

What do you feel/think about the revised René Descartes quotation?
