Food Labeling

I just recently found out some disturbing facts, but I was spared the horror of ignorant toxic consumption by a personal lifestyle that avoids the convenient products that people often use.

Did you know that ‘”propellant” in PAM cooking spray included ‘petroleum gas, propane and butane’? Luckily, I have used an oil pump sprayer for years. The one I use is the Misto oil pump sprayer – no propellants required, and I add oil to it myself.

What is the difference between ‘evaporated cane juice’ and sugar? None! Juice just sounds “healthier” than “sugar”.

While I don’t necessarily agree with our litigious culture, sometimes it seems necessary to compel change. Maybe crusading lawyers making Big Food the next Big Tobacco is a good thing.
