St Catherine of Siena

Saint Catherine of Siena said, “You are rewarded not according to your work or your time but according to the measure of your love.”

Today is the feast day for St Catherine of Siena (1347 – 1380); the patron saint of my parish, Italy, and Europe. A remarkable woman of her time Catherine was active in politics and world affairs.
